I am so grateful. I grew up in Louisiana with this kind of coffee and have not been able to find it for some reason. It's like all of the people who knew how to do French roast, took it to their graves. This smells like the beans used to smell at the place where my grandmother would go to buy her coffee in the big warehouse where they would roast it. Seriously I have ordered coffee even from New Orleans and it has been burnt medium roast. I buy french or dark roast and it is usually always medium dark with no oil on the beans. I know it is tricky because I actually bought a ln air roaster and tried to roast it myself. I am so grateful to the Olsons for creating this coffee and I hope they will always have it.

Exceptionally smooth, but with big bold coffee taste. 40 grams for 24oz of water seems to me to work perfectly. Doesn't taste like too much coffee to water. Whatever your preferred ratio, I am betting you'll love this coffee! Great job Rick!
